Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression form it to the full product?
Yes, i think i learnt that it is a lot harder to make a film work well, that it would appear, even this 2 minutes of film took hours and hours of editing to make it all fit and get it all to flow and it took several days of filming to get the shots we needed. And a lot of little things as well, like a it of a shake on a specific shot makes it look really unprofessional- unless it was supposed to be shaky- and soundtrack decisions can make or break a film as well; if the song you've selected doesn't suit the action or mood on screen then your product can look really bad.

Evaluation Question Five
How did you attract/ address your target audience?
We used the social networking site Facebook, by linking the video from YouTube to our indivdual profile pages and asking our friends to leave a comment about it and ask what we could do better. We also released it on YouTube and gathered comments from people that weren't necessarily our friends. These were some of the comments we recieved:
I also asked one of my friends to film a response to the video:
And i made an audio clip of me interviewing my brother about it:

Evaluation Question Three
What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
We decided that the best option for a production company would be Lionsgate, because they have brought a range of thriller and horror movies, probably most notably the Saw series and the House Of 1000 Corpses. However we wanted our film to reatin its indie style and so we also chose Film Four as another production company- so that it would have the reputation of Lionsgate behind it, but it would still remain a somewhat low key venture which would slot in nicely with the UK film circuit.
To reach our target audience, we decided that releasing a viral trailer on-line rather than on the TV would make more sense as, according to research, our target audience spends more time on the internet than watching TV. This would achieve a greater exposure thus reaching more people and , hopefully, making our film more successful in sales. It would also make sense that all cinemas would distribute our film: Odeon, Cineworld, Vue etc. however once it was released we discovered, through research, that more teenagers download films than buy them on DVD, and so to obtain the largest possible exposure we would release on iTunes and LoveFilm, whilst stilll releasing DVD's as well.

Evaluation Question Two
How does your media product represent particular social groups?
The social group we were trying to represent was working class teenagers, and we were trying to highlight common personalities that all the characters had which was insecurity and vanity. We chose these characteristics because they are pretty common among working class teenagers, and in thrillers and horror movies, the killer posesses all of these traits- which, generally, is the reason why they are killing peopl. And so this helps to help add the element of mystery that we were trying to create, because all of the characters had these personalities and they are all common among killers in horror movies, and so anyone of the characters in our film could have been the killer.
We acheived this representation by the continued use of mirrors by Charlie and Katie (highlighting the vanity) and the length of time that they each take to get ready (highlighting the insecurity issue they have). Although in our two minute preview we don't see any other characters, they also possess this characteristic.
